The bounce rate is when a visitor exits the site without visiting any other page on your website and for blogs this is quite normal as they were referred to a specific page on your blog (blog article) by a link or search engine in google and the visitor was only interested in that particular article and he may have not wanted to visit other pages on the blog.

for a newer website 70% bounce rate is pretty normal.

If your traffic source is from social platforms like Twitter, Reddit, Facebook, then the visitors will normally bounce off the page they visit.

Keep working on your website and adding new content and improve the traffic from search engines.

Also, I checked your website with webpagetest.org and it showed of site loading time of 4.9 seconds, that is pretty bad, higher page loading times also contribute alot in higher bounce rates as a normal visitor won't wait that long for the page to load.

I would suggest moving to a better hosting package if you are using shared hosting.

Don't worried about the bounce rate, there are various ways to reduce the bounce rate here,

example if you make a post related to the SEO, try to provide more related information where the customer will search for it again.
so they will read 2 or 3 more pages and they spend huge time in your portal. Always for good content peoples will response.

Check for some referral traffic coming from spammy referral websites. It can lead to high bounce rates.

Bounce rate is a metric that is quite tricky to interpret.

You first have to understand how bounce rate is calculated to determine whether it's a metric that is usable for your purpose.

Bounce rate is a metric that determines if, essentially, someone lands on your page and then interacts with the page by clicking onto another page. For blogs it's common that the post you've written helps the user and is insightful enough, that they don't need to click onto other pages on your website. That's just the way the tagging works with Google Analytics. The user will literally have to perform an action such as clicking onto another page in order for your bounce rate to go down.

There's a 2012 post on the official Google Analytics blog that details how you can adjust the bounce rate metric to look for other events that might be better for content related websites. This is called adjusted bounce rate:

This simply determines if whether a person has stayed on the page for longer than 15 seconds. If they haven't then that counts as a bounce, if they have then that's obviously not a bounce. :) I think that's a much better interpretation of how well the content on your site is doing.

70-80% is pretty much OK Bounce rate. Only THE BEST organised websites can reach under 60% and that is questionable.
Other thing is... If you have blog with good written article and someone comes and read that article - resolve initial problem and close your blog - why to penalize that? SEO experts talk about these scenario also - if you have good quality calculator web application which can convert miles to meters and someone comes and do the trick. He won't stay on your blog just to be curious about other metrics. he is found what he was interested for. This apply for weather channel websites and so on.
Conclusion is - Google won't make misjudgment based only on a bounce rate. Algorithm that Google use takes more than just a few parameters (visit time, word count +++) to make final decision.
