To keep all fair - I'm going to raise the issue again with the team and emphasize what is being pointed out here. I did bring it up but it seems you two think it's much closer to the Blacklane than they did.

I will bring this back for another decision on if it's too close of a copy or not. I hope my point was made though, at least half of these entries are not 100% original.

 

I used clipart for the backgrounds on the cards only, not for trademark logos. I'm telling you right now that if you pay for something that another company is already using then you can kiss that money goodbye.

 

Understood - I'm going to raise your point and make sure the final decision takes this in to consideration.

I think the real question here is how much a logo has to be modified to not be considered 'their' logo anymore. I'm not an expert on the topic myself so I guess it's time to put it under a microscope.

if you are concerned about the logo and assume its not a logo that deserves to you expect in this forum. The logo I'd decided not entitled owned by CH. money is not a problem only for me,
but the decision was entirely on my return CH choosing the design deserves to be in the select and have a good reason.
I am responsible for the designs that I have made.

The head of the driver is an exact copy, besides of the design ethical issue, Blacklane is a large enough company to pursue legal action.

 

The contest holder could be a scammer. He will pretend it's a contest, just to get free designs, because 99% of you naive designers will NOT protect your work with a watermark (very stupid). He will come up with a 2 second nonsense design and elect it as a winner or message the "winner" privately without announcing who it its. We can discourage more people from doing this BS if more of you silly asses would protect your works with water marks in EVERY CONTEST. PLEASE START DOING THIS TODAY. I'm growing sick of 1 in every 3 contests being a scam here. They won't stop until all of us protect our designs OK?

 

I'm chat with CH. be careful to judge people, because it would damage the image of you as a designer. the results of my design chosen by the CH and become several revisions. now I'm waiting for the final decision of CH.

 

@ broadcastle - And you could just be an epic douchebag troll that throws accusations around at 10 year members that have held multiple contests and paid them as well as purchased a lot of various items and services on this forum in the past. It sure is fun to speculate, isn't it? BTW, I've never gotten any source code from anyone on any of these designs yet. We had some copyright issues here that we're working out. (a little bit of reading could have told you that though)

You may be better off keeping your speculations and phony made up statistics to yourself.

 

So for everyone's information: andholist did some extensive redesign to remove any question of copying any other designs and we're very happy with his work and he has been paid the $100 prize.
