Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

My terrible experience with Sovrn/Lijit

    Hi,

To be honest I'm not sure. I suspect like most ad networks they value US, UK, traffic and like sites with compelling content. Not sure if they have a minimum traffic requirement

Best thing would be to sign up and see what they say. You could always try emailing them as well. In my experiance the account mangers are great and they always reply to questions, etc...

Yes they will reject it because most advertisers are not interested in being scammed by someone who has an ugly WordPress with RSS Fed TXT Content...and fake traffic.

Atleast they properly respond unlike someone . Also they are launching their New system in february
The best thing about Lijit/Sovern is their system where you can check advertisers/visitors age range to income to where traffic is coming from. their statistic system is one of the best one .
ahh. i get weekly stats reports via emails and graphical presentation of stats makes it quite easy to understand things. Sovern seems like doing a re-structure and so response time is not at par as was with lijit but that will be sort out in next few months, I THINK.

    Hi everyone,
I have been with lijit now svorn for about three years and I have never had a problem. I am shocked that people complain about them and malware, I have them on two sites and that has never happened, reading these comments about Lijit are foreign to me and I signed up for this forum to speak about my experience. Both my websites are high traffic so I don't know if that is the reason why I have absolutely no complaints. They have always worked with me from day one and even contacted me to add another banner for them which I gladly did. I have Svorn and two other ad networks and out of the three I prefer Svorn because its less stress and I make very good money with them and could make better money but I don't have a video platform yet but I will most certainly get it to make more money. They are better than Google to me, some days I make more with them than Google..I didnt know there were sign up issues I never had a problem and I am EXTREMELY happy with them. The ad net work I wish to get rid of is Infolinks, they are quite shady and dishonest with payments ..Any recommendations?

How many of us actually really believe on this review ?

May be you have provided true information, though it does not stands or is not believable unless you add more details about your website or monthly earning you had with them in last 3 years etc, which really can make big difference, otherwise your review is really not making much sense.

About Infolinks they had problem in payment, though they are still preferred by many.

Listen I dont have to come onto a forum and lie about anything. Infolinks starts off good in the first month then your earnings get lower and lower. I dont care if you prefer info links..I dont prefer them. Cunt I make 1700 a month with Svorn and I can show my payments so top that . Not everyone has to lie in a review..Google checks every single thing down to a science..I make 2000 from them monthly but some days I make more from Svorn ..stupid ass

FYI I have been with Google for 5 years and I prefer Svorn any freeking day

Do you want to see the paypal deposits too?? Damn fool

I dont know how to upload images here because I am new

Sovrn is a great network. Keep your floors above $0.45 (particularly for mobile). Malicious ads will creep into any network from time to time but keeping your floors above their buying thresholds is a surefire way to filter out the bad ads.

I'm pretty sure you meant Can't I make 1700 a month with Svorn ... Those words mean something completely different. It's always a good idea to preview and peruse your entries before posting.

Now, as to posting images, please do the following:
    1. Go to the page containing the info you wish to share
    2. Hit the [Print Screen] key to capture an image (take a picture) of the screen
    3. Open Paint and then hit [Ctrl+V] to paste the image there
    4. Save the image as a PNG file, not BMP
    5. Upload the image to imgur.com (you can upload images without an account but it's better to have one)
    6. Click the code in the BBCode (message boards & forums) section to highlight it
    7. Hit [Ctrl+C] to copy it to your clipboard
    8. Hit [Ctrl+V] to paste it into your post here
That's it. The image will appear when you preview and/or post the message. (As to step 3, if you want to crop the image and/or blur out sensitive info, you'll need to use a more versatile program than Paint.)

Now you that know how to post screenshots, please post one of the page containing your April earnings.

First, here's proof. I'm putting my money where my mouth is. Second, the criticisms here are on point as well; although Sovrn is ok, it does often have problems with bad ads, especially on mobile, even with the floor set to $0.60 CPM and higher; redirect ads still pop up from time to time.

Fill for US is acceptable; with a floor of $0.40, the average CPM is around $1.20 with a fill of usually around 30%. Fill for international is much poorer, around 5% (same average CPM and floor).

That being said, Sovrn isn't a scam, and its new system, 'meridian', is hands down the best reporting tool I have worked with in any of the ad agencies I've worked with thus far. If they could only run better QA on the campaigns, I would give them five out of five stars. As it is, I'd still give them 3.5 or 4 stars. They have always been very responsive to me as well, although to be fair, I move a decent amount of volume and revenue for them/myself...

I've seen a lot of crap talked by people about publishers or praise for them, so rarely with anything backing it up, which is why although I've been here months now, I'm usually silent. Here's hoping this will be helpful to someone.

Sovrn is a decent network and they pay on time, but there are TOO MANY bad ads to justify the money. My mobile users were up in arms. Even I was being redirected to app stores on average at least 3-4 times per day. Once redirected it was pretty hard to even back-click to the site. Some users stopped going to our site on mobile because the redirects became that annoying. Eventually I had to drop them. Been using them for years on and off, and the second time I was forced to drop them. The first time around was due to redirect ads on desktop with users being sent to a fake adobe update website.

Initially Lijit, and now Sovrn, worked fine for us for several years. They do have bad fill rate, but they are alright to make a decent buck as a backup ad network or for remnant inventory.

However, we removed them from all of our websites several months ago. They had an ad running that would pop up and cover our whole website (basically it acted as an interstitial ad). We contacted them about the issue, but it took them something like 5 days to respond and resolve the issue. By then I removed them and carried on with my life.

They contacted me again today requesting a phone call, but after seeing that I am not the only one that had that kind of trouble (bad ads) and considering that they are just barely competitive for about 20% of my US traffic, I think I just won't bother.

Other than a pretty low fill rate. I have had great success with Sovrn.

I run my site constantly and have had no ad problems. I tried clicksor and that instantly gave me malware, but so far I have been earning decent amounts and the ads have been pretty good.

If I could get fill rate higher, I wouldnt even be here looking for something to run alongside them.

I would like to add that I've decided to give sovrn another chance. We reintroduced them into our chain about a month and a half ago and I am satisfied with the results so far in both the CPM and fill rate area. Fortunately, we did not notice many bad ads during this time. We had one show up and it was dealt with swiftly. I am changing my recommendation for sovrn to - yes, try them out.

Out of curiosity what chain do you use?

It would be extremely helpful to me as I am looking to chain up with sovrn, but I haven't got an idea where to start and some of my previous attempts had malware/porn ads which is not something I can have on my site. Because I have recently changed domain names, sovrn was the only publisher that would continue to serve me ads on my new domain.

My fill rate with sovrn is generally only around 30% so I am leaking revenue without a working chain....

I started using them again and after two days I started getting repeated complaints from all comers of redirects to app stores.

They are fine to use on Desktop, no issues there. But when a mobile user comes to the site - WATCH OUT. I went on the site from my phone and was redirected at least 6 times in 10 visits. Once the complaints carried over to users on Twitter, it was removal time.

They need much better monitoring because this never happens to me with Adsense, Casale, Conversant or Tribal.

My computer antivirus automatically blocks lijit ads now. I went to a site and an alert popped up saying lijit is blocked due to some issues. The antivirus company must have been made aware of lijit's non legit ads.

It seems to be coming with the redirects on mobile ads. I will be removing them also, they do not even have as high CPM as my desktop ads... strange. A few issues with this but overall still a good network to use for display/video
