Suggest a name to my company

    I got a Software firm in India registered with a name of MJ Software Technologies.
    I want to change its name not totally but adding some Abbreviations to Letters M&J in its name.
    Please suggest me a unique name for both the letters,
    Please don't make fun by saying Michael Jackson or else likewise........My company is like my child.

    To be honest, I see nothing wrong with your name.
    Many, if not the most, companies don't promote products under the name of the company. Instead there are brands owned by the company. Ford, Volvo, SAAB and other carbrands is a good exception.

    Think of Microsoft. There is no such product, as Microsoft. Instead, there is Windows, Excange... other product names.
    Apple. There is no "Apple" product. These are iMac, Powerbook, iPhone, iPad etc.
    SUN used to shipe the OS named Solaris, but the computers were SUN comupters...!
    Oracle is somewhere inbetween...

    What does MJ stand for? What does your company do? Ex. General Electric is not very inspired, but very effective in relaying what they do.

    MiddleJay, MircoJa, ModestJ, etc. Do what some writers have thought, go out about the city and see the names of the shops. Pick one you like and do a modification of it to make it your own. I wouldn't pick a name someone else has crafted for me.
    You don't have to come up with meaning. Focus on sound. Catchy is good. Catchy attracts. People will remember a site that is catchy. The best way to do that is by doing "almosts". Or trace name.
