Creating A Product Review Articles? (tips)

I have read about creating review and i want to try them on one of my website to create a review for the product.. Can anyone give pointers on what to discuss and how to begin? like do we use first person?

 

I would look at reviews on Amazon as well as on other sites such as Consumer Reports and then watch a YouTube video or two to get a good background on the product. If you own the product or have used it personally then writing from first person in a story style works well. If you've not used or purchased the product you can say things like "more than XX reviewers on Amazon have given this product a 5-star rating and said that it's XX feature is really great for doing XX".

I usually write in first person if my site I am reviewing the product on is a blog and I have a BIO. Also, be sure to use images, and link those images to the product on Amazon. You will be surprised how many clicks to Amazon you get just from images. Let me know if you need any more help! :]

Do not forget to add product pre-sell in your review article.

For ie. adding some tips and pointing them to product to get more with it.

I got things ready.. just need to find a simple theme that work well and converts.. any of you guys have suggestion?

 

I use woocommerce for my review sites and set up each product as an "Affiliate Product." You can also use simple themes that have great SEO like Thematic (It is free) and then modify it to convert well.. Here is a sample: http://logitechharmonyreview.com/

So not only will it rank well in search engines, using buttons and callouts will greatly increase your conversions..

I have another question.. is it better to show the Price on review or just the link?

I usually post both.. However, according to Amazon T.O.S. if you show the price for a product you must make sure it is constantly up to date with the price on their site.

 

You don't necessarily have to keep updating the price so long as you put next to the price something like "(accurate as of 02-January-2012)".
