    Hi Shawon,

    2015 best practice says that directory links are ineffective and useless. Articles are useful if you mean real well written content and not spammy article marketing.

    Social is a great channel. but not for links...for spreading your content and message out to your audience and beyond.

    Are you still in 2011? Directories, bookmarkings, article submissions wont help you get traffic, infact, it will get your website banned. Dont focus on quantity, build 1 good quality link a day that's relevant to your niche and you will see the results in future.

    If you are looking for traffic, post good content in Google+ and don't do it for getting backlinks. Quality nofollow links also count for building authority, Maintain healthy ratio between nofollow and dofollow links (Never focus on getting dofollow links only). Never build links aggressively, You may see keywords increase their rankings for a while untill Google rolls its penguin update, Never focus on short term results, Aim for long term instead. As kushal said, 1 quality link a day will work for long term results.

    Try logging out and the deleting your cookies and then doing the search again. Results will be completely different.

    I think per day you can submit 10 submission each in directory, social bookmarking, blog commenting, web 2, etc. Many submissions in a day is harmful for a side because it may cause spam...
