    I'm looking to best and easy to modify the template/framework.

    It is difficult to answer which one is the best. Most companies develop templates based on framework Gantry, T3, etc... Gantry is probably the easiest to manage, but the heaviest. Though frameworks offer some major benefits, there are drawbacks related to caching, as practically everything is getting cached 2-3 times by Joomla core, sometimes component and the template.

We also provide so many templates for Joomla, there are so many free for you & we're going to released WordPress. You can access our site to consider.     I've done dozens of sites for many different clients. Without a doubt my favorite are Gantry framework templates like those from RocketTheme. If you want ease of use go for Gantry. YooTheme is also quite good but not as easy to configure in my opinion. My least favorite would be Jooml-Art. My personal feeling is that their control panel is incredibly confusing and does not provide the template controls that I often need easy access to. Gavick is okay (love their news modules) but sometimes their template stuff doesn't play well with other modules or components without having to putz around with the CSS.
