    Any more than 0 a day of those sorts of links puts your site at risk for getting a manual unnatural link penalty.

    What you "think" and what is correct are 2 entirely different things, Are you another of those "seo experts" by any chance?

    It looks like you are trying to manipulate the search engine rankings. :eek:
    Those volume of submissions doesn't determine rankings. So don't focus on how many but on quality. ;)

    It depends on your site age. You can create 3-4 links daily from social bookmarking, directory submissions, etc.

    Quality matters, so you just focus on quality link building not on quantity.

    It's not a fix rule how many but, do limited like 10 to 15 in first month, same in next month with diverse inner pages including mix strategies. Follow step by step link building guide by Neil Patel: http://www.quicksprout.com/2015/05/06/how-many-links-should-you-build-to-your-website/

    =================
    There is no limit to generate the links, but you have to remember that your backlinks should be high quality with high domain authority websites, high page rank websites & good Alexa. Don't try to build links from any one activity like bookmarking, directory, article, etc. but you have to do equally all off-page activities to generate links. Also taking care of do-follow and no-follow links, try to create both links for your websites. If your backlink profile will look natural, then Google won't update any update on your website.

    Sorry, but I can't agree with you... If he blasts with a tool for example and what do you think will happen if all of those backlinks get indexed in a SHORT period of time... And moreover what will happen if Google finds that there are NO new backlinks after this for a long time...

    The idea is to go SLOWLY, for example 5-10 a day is more than enough. Meanwhile you can also build other backlinks. But if you go slowly, Google will see that you get constant new backlinks and this is NATURAL according to Google! :)

    So how come those sites that go viral and get a massive amount of links in a short time and then get no links after that never get penalized by google?
    Care to show us where Google said that constant new backlinks is NATURAL ... or are you just making this up?

    In 2015 I do no directory or article submissions. Waste of time.

    I do post each new article I write on Google+, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

    Focus on quality not quantity. Try to gain back links from web sites having high DA and PR. It will surely help you.

    Here's a hint for those not taking advantage of this. If your website is an article-type, informational site (as mine is), be sure to get a Google+ account. And post each new article on your G+ account. I do that, and almost without exception, if I do a Google search for that article title's main keyword(s), the article shows up on the first page of search results within minutes of my posting it on Google+. Try it. You'll be pleased with the results.

    I have to agree with Jim4767, when I synced my google+ account to my personal blog so new articles were posted onto G+, I found it a lot easier to rank. Now I've heard mixed talk about how google obviously likes content posted on their sites, but also that they are trying to make those no-follow sometime soon. I dunno, I'm no expert, so I won't take any side, but that's been my experience so I'd say it's worth testing out!

    As for the number of submissions per day, I just work under the powers of "Do no harm" and you'll never be penalized. If a directory is relevant, submit to it, if not, don't.
