Seems like Apple are finally being open about web scraping.

Apple search coming soon? I think it's safe to say so!!

It would be really interesting to see.. This is one company that would actually have the kind of money it takes to compete with Google. Then again, Google is well over a decade ahead of them in the search industry. They'd have allot of catching up to do! Make it the default search on all their PC's, Laptops, iPhones..etc. would be a good start!

A lot of other search engines tend to have a lot of clutter as well. Im curious to see how Apple would do it but without looking so much like Google.

Apple has currently stated that Applebot is being used by Spotlight and Siri. Apple has also stated that Applebot will follow the rules set for Googlebot. Interesting. Waiting for the day Apple crawls my blog.
