    Before 2012 or 2013 ,off page optimization (Back linking) was the best practice in SEO. More back linking, more traffic and more PR. But now a days, on page optimization is the best method in SEO. On page optimization must be 100% unique and quality content,unique title,relevancy,user friendly.Then use natural back linking for drive traffic.

    Do a GOOD keyword research.. Then write UNIQUE content that's optimized for THOSE keywords.. Then only submit to Social Bookmarking sites and Social Media sites (your idea is to get indexed). If the article is good written, it shouldn't be a problem to get ranking good for some long tail keywords! Then a better link building is recommended! :)

    First of all target your keywords. Then write a unique content (Content should be long more than 600 words) base on keywords. Optimize your "on page SEO" focusing on the main targeted keywords. Share your content on social media sites. Then start to create backlinks. Don't create a bunch of links in a day and sit around other days. Be sure you are creating backlinks on a regular basis and maintaining quality. Gradually create high quality backlinks and try to get link from good authority site. Don't buy backlinks. Most of the time you will find these spam. Join in key phrase related keywords and keep replying on others posts. Then put a signature on those forums.. And don't take stress! Wait for getting results.
