    Do search engines (primarily Google) put much emphasis on errors within the w3 code validation when ranking websites? I have heard conflicting reports on its importance.

    Never heard that it is.

    However, it is important to have the discipline of being w3c code compliant. Keeps you on your toes, being disciplined and the danger of becoming sloppy in other facets of work.

    Yes ofcourse w3c validation hasnt much effect on SEO, but correct codes and tags on your website means a neat and clean website that is a plus point rather than a website having lots of wrong or mispelled or unecessary tags.

    It won't effect your SEO, but if you clean all erorrs, you could be sure everything would work smoothly! Also, be sure to check different tools that also give you some tips how you can optimize your website! ;)

    I think it's not effect SEO because this is for codding part for website development. W3 error and warning show when any problem in the codes and running the website.

    W3C validation itself mean World Wide Web code validation, it check only the error part and warning in the code ..It don't have any effect with SEO.

    I don't w3 validation helps in seo or not but I think we should clean all errors and warnings because finally Google is boat it understand code....if its error free it will help them to understand.
