Pages are just showing "server IP ." - Same in source

    Hey,

    I dont know why this is happening, but WP isn't loading and just shows "server IP ."
    Easier to see it here - http://199.21.112.162/~northwes/prankshark.com/wp-admin/ (Domain is propagating so Im going direct to the site folder - The same thing is also happening on my local server though)

    I have a few WP sites running both on my live server and my testing server / localhost on my laptop without any problems.

    Anyone know whats wrong?

    You need to change the wp_option table home , site url to to your domain not the Static IP. Hope this will fix the issue.

    That is because the base URL is set to prankshark.com in the Wordpress. Please note that Wordpress installation are not supposed to be accessed using IP address, as the pages are generating dynamically and it will show you broken pages always. Your best option to check the page before DNS propagation is by editing hosts file in your OS and put the following entry to it.

    199.21.112.162 prankshark.com www.prankshark.com

    [ Guess the website is hosted on 199.21.112.162 on new server; else replace it with the correct IP address ). Then you can access the website from new server by just entering http://prankshark.com in the browser.
