After passing 3 years of my blog journey, my strategy say people fail in blogging for these reason bellow

    1. Choosing Wrong Niche
    2. Lacking of research
    3. Lacking of continuous process

My personal advice: Don't quit from blogging, because quitter never win.

The REAL reasons people fail in blogging.

    1. They don't make "instant" money.
    2. They don't make enough money.
    3. They don't pay their hosting fees.
    4. They don't pay their internet fees.
    5. They can't be bothered to try new things with fear of 1 & 2 happening to them again.

I think the real reason many fail is because they have taken the hand of those professed "gurus" and been led down the garden path, over and over. Losing their confidence and dollars by doing so
If you were the lucky one who followed the right people, bought the right courses, chances are, you are successful.

    1. Posting content available elsewhere -> and being killed by the Panda algorithm !!!
    2. Underestimating the need for valuable backlinks -> If you don't have them, Google won't trust your content...

Find opportunities to perform guest blogging (reasonably, not on a large scale...)

What it ultimately comes down to, why people fail, is this:

Lack of motivation/drive/seeing the bigger picture.

Without motivation there is no persistence, no creativity, no consistency, no belief in oneself and a low quality in articles.

How do you have motivation? Everyday you have to read your goals (constantly remind yourself otherwise you will forget, you have to rewire the neurons[takes about 30 days]) + potential rewards (E.g. online income so I can have more freedom, travel the world, and work anywhere).

Without seeing what your goal is and what you want out of it, then why would you want to proceed?

So always remind yourself why you're doing this. This helps with seeing the bigger picture rather than short term goals.

    Hope that helps:)

“People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily.” - Zig Zaglar

In my opinion, it is easier to blog on a niche that interests you and not something you choose because it is or it will be profitable for you.

So so so much abundance of blogging and competition has made it difficult to survive in blogging.

You can be the best content writer in the world...
and google will index your best content, and all you
will get from that is some organic traffic google sends
you, but if you have zero backlinks, then the only people
seeing that content is the few google sends...

Google has everyone scared that if they do link building
then google will fart all over what they have done....

I guess google's thought is, if your site was meant to
take off in a natural way, then great, if not, then SOL...

I guess everyone is supposed to setup a site, and
simply hope for the best it takes off, sure, only if
you come out with some world renown product,
service, or cure for the world, instant hit then...

Lack of patience and hard work is the main reason why people fail in blogging and quit it.

A lot of good points here. However, as well as being knowledgable/passionate about the topic you're writing on, I think successful bloggers require some level of writing talent before they start. Also, being able to see what your readers want to read and filling gaps in the blogging market is also key.
