Contest Logo for an Online Game - $75 Prize (Multiple Winners)

Hello, everyone.

I am looking to have a new logo designed for an online game of mine. The current design is low-quality and amateurish, so I'm looking to overhaul it completely -- and it all begins with the logo. I will award $75 to the best logo submitted to the contest. The second best will receive $10 (and the third best will receive $5) as a thank you for your participation. All payments will be made via PayPal.

I am also open to hiring the winner to design the rest of the site (if they are interested), so there is the potential for additional work!

The logo does not need to match the current design. As I wrote above, your logo design will help inspire the new site design. Therefore, feel free to be creative! There are virtually no limitations/restrictions -- but do keep in mind that this is an online game and that the setting is a prison.

I know I'm being a bit vague here -- but that's because I want to see what you have in mind. I will provide feedback on every submission to help guide things along. You are also welcome to PM me if you have any questions or would like to suggest an idea.

Gave a feel of prison and anger with a pair of a Broken Handcuff on letters 'O' and 'S' with a prison peek view inside the letter 'O', and gave a wall and grill like texture.

Wow! Thanks for your submission - all three of these look great. The first two are my favorite - it's hard to pick between them. The broken handcuff is a nice effect, would it be possible to see that on either the first or the second logo (but without the design inside the O)? I like all three background textures. The third one is really cool - I wonder what it looks like without the bricks, though. Overall, very nice, my friend. If you have any other ideas, please feel free to submit them... I really like your work!

Nice work! Thank you for the submission. However, the design you've submitted seems too... 'futuristic' for my game. It would work really well for a sci-fi game or something, but not so much for a prison.

Thanks for the submission! This logo doesn't seem to fit the feel of the game. It's a bit too plain.

I prefer the direction you took with your first submissions.

Pretty cool ideas, outwork69, but they have too much of a cartoon feel to them. They aren't 'tough' enough for a prison game (if that makes sense).

@outwork69 No offence mister, ripping off was never on my mind, I worked on the same for 3 hours straight trying different ideas, you can see all my past work in the forum and then take your judgement.
@CH: Sorry to disturb your thread.

First of all, I had an idea in mind to use chains, handcuffs, then bullets. Side ways an idea of fiery agression, and steam ( that coming out of an steam engine ) NEVER thought of ripping an idea, I just saw a couple of cliparts on Shutter stock and thought to go with one of them, what can I do if it went to be SIMILAR to that object ( BUT not the logo, mind it )

still for your clarification:

1. that is just a symbol / lever object
2. if a symbol is used used in another object, does not means you cannot use it
3. I did not use it AS IS in this logo, changed the mean and the positioning as well
4. gave it whole lot a different meaning of being a part of BROKEN BIG CHAIN BOLT in a prison
5. That fire effect took me 2 hours to set in
6. If you believe it is a ripoff, then why did'nt you pointed it Daysss back when I posted my work ? or the day you saw this thread ? ( looks like you were confident of winning after putting your designs, but when the CH gave preference to my work you fell shouting ) I cannot do anything on that, really
7. Oh yes, please look at these pictures, if they gave me an idea to use a part of the chain bolts , why you call it a rip off ?
