    Mike, theres a list of asian countries that you should live in to buy one, you must have 1 of the contacts as an asian contact, so far i cant find anyone who has purchased one, for example living in the UK and managed to get the registrar to provide the one asia contact.

    Ive emailed godaddy but doubt il get an answer.

    Update: Godaddy confirmed they cannot provide the asia contact needed for registration.

    Hi, depends what you want to do with the domain and what features you want included for the price, some registrars charge extra for privacy, dns settings, forwarding and so on...
    The best for the price IMO is a directi reseller such as domaincheap.asia since this is what you are looking for...

    .Asia Registry of dotAsia run a PROMO for the first half of 2015, and it's okay for you to fill in "HK" or "Hong Kong" as your country, so I consider it wont be difficulty for you to register .asia domain names with good price.
