Some extensions still offer a grace delete period, but I'm not sure GoDaddy is one of them. Grace deletes are usually only available for up to 48 or 72hrs after you register it, and it's not available in all extensions. DynaDot still offers a grace delete period though!

    GoDaddy never refunds the money.
ResellerClub refunds money if domain is cancelled within a certain time.

That's not true. Godaddy will provide refunds on domains. I've personally done this. If I remember correctly, you get up to 5 business days to request a refund. Get in touch with their customer support.

Many domains are eligible for a refund if they were registered within the last 5 days (120 hours) then you can contact support to cancel the registration and receive a refund. Hope this helps! Support.godaddy.com has our number and live chat service.

In this case I doubt that any registrar can offer you a refund and rightfully so. The domain is already paid for the year from their side and the registrar cannot delete it. Why did you wait a whole month before you figured that out in the first place?

And yes, if you can find an end user that is interested in your domain you are absolutely free to sell it. You are the owner of the domain and you can do whatever you wish with it ;)

This is a subject of a whole industry you are asking. I doubt that anyone can give you a straight answer or at least not one that will not take a few hours explaining. If your domain is a premium, valuable name, some domainer will probably find you and ask you about it anyways. Otherwise it works just the same as any sell - you find buyers that might be interested and try to market it to them. ;)

Most registrars refund domain registrations within 3-5 days (e.g. Internet.bs and Namecheap did it for me). Sometimes you have to ask, then ask again, then confirm that you agree to the terms bla bla bla, but finally they agree and refund.

True. Also, there is no grace for domain renewals AFAIK
