Contest $85 for mobile apps screen (72 hours)

Discussion in 'Design Contests' started by joshuar, Mar 2, 2015.

This contest is to design 17 screens for a mobile app. In the first step of the contest my client only needs three screens to be designed (not developed). The winner of this contest will be paid $15 for the first three screens. The winner will also be paid the rest of the money ($70) after the other 14 screens are designed.
    pic 1x.png

Screen 1: The first screen is the emoji creation screen. As you click on certain options the choices will be seen in the top rectangle. The face is only an example of an emoji that someone could create. The little image in the corner is what the emoji will look like when it’s shrunken down.

Screen 2: Presents the user with two options.

Screen 3: Is the user’s emoji library. It shows all the emojis that they have created with the app.

Below is an example of an app design that my client likes and would like his app to be designed after.

    pic 2.png

You are designing the screens only, NOT the phone. It is important the designs are created as PSDs for retina iPhone screens.

All questions and submissions must be submitted through the thread. I will not take any PM-ed designs or questions. The contest is for 72 hours or until a clear winner is chosen. Let me know through the thread if you have any questions.

    Here is the color palette.

    Good luck!

    Great job,
My client asked me if he could see a couple changes on the first screen. 1. Take out the black arrow at the bottom. 2. Put a bar at the top. As the user pushes the eyes, ears and nose buttons the top bar is suppose fill up with options. 3. Could you make the green arrow just an arrow withoute a square around it. This button is going to be used to just pop-in and out the top three buttons.
    Overall, you're doing really well.

Awesome job! My client says he really likes the second design. He said, "it looks clean and professional". He also really likes your placement of the back buttons.

My client was looking at your second design and mentioned he wanted a couple changes on the first screen. 1. Could we see the design without the status bar and the iPhone background? 2. Could you put just one little emoji in the top left corner? The little emoji in the top left corner is suppose to be a preview of what the big emoji will look like when it is shrunk down. 3. Could you change some of the icons? The heart icon is supposed to be an icon for choosing the color. The square phone icon is suppose to be an eraser icon. 4. You did a great job with the red bar but could you take it out and add: App Menu, Library, and Create New to the top right menu tab? 5. Could we switch the "plus" icon with the "save" icon in the red bar?

Thank you for your amazing work! We really appreciate what you have done.

All the designs that have been submitted are really well done. Thank you for your participation! The client has chosen to go with CB's design for $15 for the first three screens and we will be working with CB to finish the other 14 screens. We would also like to award imhawk with a runner-up award of $10. Could CB and imhawk private message me your emails and Paypal information (Let me know if they are different). Remember, we need to receive all files in PSD format.

    Thanks!
