Contest ($25) Mobile Icon Contest - 48 Hours

I am looking for a talented designer who can create a mobile icon for a LDS mormon religious mobile game app.

The name of the app is "LDS Guess the word." The game is basically looking at 4 photos and guessing the word with a set of letters. I would like to use the words "LDS WORD" and see the word "LDS" in the center and the word "WORD" under it and a question mark within the letter D.

Here are some photos to use as ideas on what I am looking for:


What I would like to see is creativity from the design. I would like a clean but appealing design that reflects a game. Remember this is a game app similar to the "4 pics 1 word" game.

The design must be a perfect square.......the corners cannot be rounded. Remember it is a mobile icon for an app. All submissions must be in vector format.

Try to blend the colors that you use, creatively.

The contest will run for 48 hours or until a clear winner is decided on.

@greenless - Thank you for the submission. I like your concept and idea. I would like to see the word "WORD" in it if possible so it would be "LDS WORD" as I stated above. Somehow blend it in. Also, could you try out other different color blends for me to see?

I am not really feeling the black.

 

@thisismyusername - thanks for the submission. Please try to take into account the idea of the game. I don't like the one color background. I like the idea of 4 squares. Maybe you could try it out with the 4 photos somehow. Im not liking the blue background. Could you eliminate the horn?

 

@greenless - If you could provide some revisions to what I stated above. I am eager to see how they look.

@BakerJaz I have one question, I want to know what is the purpose of the App, that would helps a lot for the logo. Is it something about Scriptures Mastering, find The Missing world or something else? Waiting for your reply

 

@Nzounza - It is a game app with related content to LDS. Its not really set on a specific category but general. You will get 4 images and then you would guess the "WORD" that is common among those images. Make sense?

@technogenius - I am liking the concept idea. Could I maybe see it in another color blend from the pallette that I sent? There seems to be too much blue. I would like to see 2 different fonts for the 2 words........something that blends well. Also, if you take a look above in my description I wanted "WORD" instead of "WORLD."

@saud - If you could submit a different revision than that if possible. I would like to see you use one or some of the images I have submitted to use creatively. Also, I am really liking the distinction of 4 squares in the background so a plain background won't work. Maybe you could try to use the photos within the squares. Also, could you use a little more of the other colors I have sent.

Sorry for the late reply,I was very busy these days,but I made some nice changes though.


I used a more friendly color combination,with three colors,and i also changed the structure of the graphic element.
I hope you like it,hit me up with some feedback if something's not right.
