Contest $35 for a simple logo. Contest running for 48hrs

Hello again talented people.

I need a very simple (but not plain logo). I need something with a nice, clean bold font. I think the font is what is going to win it for me.

Name: gymm8 EDIT: Although the name is gymm8, please try something that even though keeps this together as one word it can be read as two words in one such as gym m8 (gym mate). For example like this: gymm8

Purpose: for some gym accessory

Do not: do not use any kind of muscle men symbols or gym weights on their own.

Colours: use whatever colours you want BUT whenever you show me the logo please make sure you also show me what it looks like in a single colour (eg: black on white background or white on black background, or red on white background etc).

I need something clean, simple and with just a small twist to it to make it look unique.

vectors: thank you for getting this started. I am not sure why you used two 8. But even without the fact you used two 8, the logo is a bit too fancy for me. Now I am staring to wonder if my requirement for something "sporty" is creating a little confusion because I want something a little more simple but also stylish.

 

guideline: thanks for the entry. And also thank you for also displaying it in one colour. I would change it a bit so it looks like two words in one such as gymm8 . I know that this logo is a bit confusing (it's meant to say gym mate) and because of that I need you if you can to make the 8 look more like an eight. It is nice the way you made it but perhaps a little confusing. Especially considering that this is the type of logo that may have people guessing what exactly is trying to say. That's also a nice font you used.

thisismyusername: thanks for the entry but it is a little too complex for me as well as hard to read

best designers: thanks but none are suitable. The first one doesn't have a bold enough font and the second one while a pleasant design is not a simple one and I need something simple and stylish. I like it but it's just not suitable.

Stefan Madalin: thanks for the entries but I am sorry to say I don't quite like any of them. I like simple designs, but yours seem to be a little plain.

Playaone: thank you for entering this contest. It's a nice and simple and stylish logo but I need something with a bolder font.

topsniper: thanks for the entry. I like it but it's a little too creative somehow. Great intention by linking the M and 8 together, great illustration but in my mind I am thinking of something a little more simple this time. I like the gym part but somehow although creative I am sorry but I just don't feel the m and 8 the way you did them (maybe it's because I am fixated on a bolder font and the m from m8 is not bold enough)

playaone: looks better...but...somehow I feel the new font for m8 overpowers the font for gym. They just don't seem to go well together. I would also remove the line for the 8. The way you put the 8 on top of M is good enough to give it a nice clean logo look.

guideline: looks much better now.

I'm going to be off for a while but I will surely come back after I get some rest.
