    Hi DP,

    I'm looking for ways on how to increase my Alexa rank for my websites.

    I'm hoping there is a paid traffic solution but I need to know exactly where the traffic will be coming from and how much of a change in Alexa rank there will be. I'm currently buying traffic from different sources but it does not boost Alexa rankings.

    Please keep in mind that some time has to pass until you get to see the increase in Alexa rankings. They are not going to change over night. Also, until Alexa 100,000, the traffic that you need is not much. After that, you need an exponentially higher traffic. Alexa ranks based on traffic, which is something that counts a lot. Artificially increasing this ranking is not actually a great idea.

    aiming to improve your alexa rank is silly. Depending on your current rank, you can boost it yourself, simply by installing the alexa bar on your computers, and setting your website as the default home page of the browser, this way when you are at work, home, other it helps reduce your alexa.

    Doing this can move your alexa rank from 26million, down to below 1 million-> but whats the point? Its a useless statistic.
