during my summer sales I've met a lot of people that judge product according to a bunch of websites like Craigs list etc etc. A part of our pitch included the fact that we had one of the top ratings in the Better Business Bureau. But I was so confused when I realized that our company paid a large amount money to keep the ratings high. Isn't that bribing? I thought the ratings were given for your performance. That's like paying Santa so he won't put you on the naughty list. Is this the case with a lot of other companies?

I HATE the BBB. Some people think they are legit though, it IS bribing essentially. Yelp isn't much better either
