Hi, I'm looking for a full time technology, business and finance writers.
I need writers for 2 blogs actually, one is in the tech niche (brand new), and finance/business writer for other blog.

Writers would need to be familiar with wordpress, be able to publish the articles on their own, and add the appropriate image inside the article.

I'm looking for articles around 400 words, unique and up to the latest info from the industries.

Writing schedule would be every second day: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, sometimes even more if needed.

    Pay is $4 per article.

Let me know in private messages if you're the right person for this job

So if I get it right, what you're paying is $1 per 100 words. Is this rate NON-NEGOTIABLE?
And if I'm not mistaken, that would include full-time work, publishing articles on Wordpress, adding images to the content and working at least 3 days in a week on the writer's part. Right?

Hi Content Maestro, price is negotiable, if the writer is a good one and knows his topic/niche.
The writers job would be just to write and publish the article, if there are comments on the article you can reply to them if needed, that's up to the writer if he wants to connect with the readers.

You don't need to hang around the blog the whole day.

Articles can be written in the same day and scheduled, which saves you a ton of time.
But when it comes to Tech blog, it would be good to follow and know what's hot in the industry and write the article for that day, not schedule it ahead.

Let me know if you have more questions.

    Thanks

Hello there, is this job still open? And what is it with $4 per article + plus web stuff? Ideally, that doesn't sound quite clear to me.
    Thank you

I am for the price increase here too. Speaking from a programmer point of view, this is too much work for meager offer. No offense
, but clients on DP should set their priorities right, sit down and examine their budget and then offer the best rates to more than just the writing job

Price increase should be price increase. There is nothing like a "little" bit if you are quality writer

You'll not or rarely find the better-paying clients on DP through Marketplace and BST. There are so many here who require content but never advertise it. Heck, some of them don't even know they need content unless someone reminds them. The best way to find such clients, I feel, is to check into the posting of users who frequently ask questions related to SEO, traffic generation, website monetization etc. Check their profile pages and signatures. A link to their blogs and websites is often given there. Their site needs an occasional touch up and the content they've put up needs to revamped and updated often.
How successfully you're able to crack a deal with these buyers depends on how fast and accurately you're able to find them and convince them that you're a good writer. Don't work for middlemen. Most of them buy content from freelance writers for cheap and sell them to their clients for much higher prices. Work DIRECTLY for website owners/webmasters or whoever is the person responsible ULTIMATELY for content management. Probability of getting paid well increases considerably this way.
Real quality always gets the better of everything else but takes some time to pay off. Give up the negativity guys and then you'll see where the money is.

    No offense, just my view.

Hello guys, I understand and support you all completely. I'm a writer myself, and right now I don't work for clients, the content I need is for my websites/blogs.

I received many offers, and the prices are different, this job is still open, and I'm still reviewing all your offers.

    Thank you all for understanding.

@Content Maestro - I love your point. I love the fact that you try the best you can to clearly explain the concept without contempt or discriminating against a thread. You have no idea how much you have helped people here. Well, unless most of us do not see it at times.

    But there is a problem:
We all have to bring ourselves to the understanding that most people have good information, like you do, but rarely have a heart to share that. Come on, it is a revolutionizing world and it is moving so fast that people tend to forget about how they could help others the same way they are doing to themselves. Well , my point is, if we have people who know where good deals are, or who know how they can get good deals, then they are the Ninjas that we need here.

    Content is King, right?
I will not gainsay this fact . As it stands, I agree that it holds fully. But hey, let us face it. Content is not King if the makers of the King are not at all in the picture. I mean, I am the quality writer who makes your business thrive, for instance. If am not available, then what? Where do we get that quality content? The internet would be a resting and a wondering place for fools. Do not take it personal, but I think most content on the net today have actually soiled the pride of "Content is King". And there is only one reason for this, "cheap rates".

    What to do:
Content Maestro has said it. I guess I want to follow along that path for sometime, and see how my writing business glows. Yes, you heard that right, glows.

    Thanks Content Maestro,
    I salute you buddy.
