Adobe Illustrator Tutorials

Discussion in 'Photoshop' started by JeffC, Dec 10, 2006.

Ok so it was time, and I made the move and got Adobe Illustrator.

I have worked with PhotoShop for sometime and am very comfortable working with it. I have been searching all over for some good introductory tutorials for it because it is quite a different beast than PS.

If anyone knows of any place that could get me going please let me know.

    Thanks!

There isnt much about illustrator from what Ive seen. You may be better off buying an ebook to learn the basics.

Maybe someone can help me with this too,

What is the equivalent of the "options window" in illustrator? It's driving me nuts not having it at the top of the window.

I ended up just doing the tutorial at lynda.com I am VERY impressed with how in depth they go in the tutorials. I get anxious watching them because of some of the past experience I have, but I have learned some very good info.

I will be using lots of the other tutorials at lynda. I think its time to learn php...:)

JeffC : I've been using illustrator for only around 2 years. Honestly though, if you try and learn each type of tool. From the move tool down to each and every effect, I won't be surprised to see some nice vector forms with your name on it.

Here are some of the things I've done in the past. These are mainly fillers for a children's book and a poster. Not much but I'm kinda proud of my work.
