    If you are a SEO expert then you should not need any information about SEO (Search Engine Optimization). PR services are in demand by many companies, organizations and individuals. A professional PR agency communicates with the outer world that represented in the best possible way on the behalf of that particular company or organization.

    I'm not sure if by PR you mean Page Rank or Press Release. Nevertheless, if you claim you're a SEO expert than you should now all about Page Rank.
    Then again why are you comparing SEO and Press Release Services. It doesn't make any sense...

    So Press release is written or video communication made by a company, generally aimed to announce the release of a new product or service, or the remake of one.

    I think a PR service deals with how you want your customers and general public to perceive your brand or services. This could be for different media like print media, on the web etc. So PR services are a much broader term which generally apply to larger brands.

    PR is a part of SEO tactic but It cannot be done without a Good PR professional or an agency doing it. Their main motive is to get recognised among the same niche personals and business through releasing a press news telling about the company, its services, products and more. As per SEO is concerned if your website get a link from a PR website of higher authority then it is very much possible you will get a good ranking in SERPs.
