How to Find Dirt Cheap NICHE Relevant Expiring Domains on GoDaddy

    Alright alright alright. Private blog networks are all the rage right now but not everyone has the means of paying upwards of $60 for just one decent expiring domain. Just five expired domains with decent PA and DA can easily run you about $500, so is it really worth it? I say, use private blog networks if you can get domains for cheap, but if not there are other good ways of building backlinks. So I've come up with this technique to find cheap relevant expiring domains from GoDaddy. It's a little long so you might want to have some coffee or tea in hand. Let's start!

    What You'll Need:
    Notepad ++ (Free)
    Guru's URL Grabber (Free)
    Scrapebox (Paid) or some other software that calculate PA/DA

    Step 1: Find Niche Relevant Expiring Domains from GoDaddy
    First off you're going to need a list of expiring domains from GoDaddy's auctions list. The thing is though, you can't get the URLs by viewing the page source. So what you'll need to do is manually highlight and copy all the URLs on the page. First off, in the little "Popular Searches" box in the top left hand corner, you're going to want to checkoff Bargain Bin for a list of the cheapest domains and check off "Search Results to Return" to 500. Then click the Price tab to list the domains from cheapest to most expensive. Now, place whatever keyword you want your domain to have in the top box and click Go. You'll now have a list of 500 expiring domains listed from dirt cheap to dirt cheap (usually $5 - $11). Now manually highlight and copy the whole thing.

    Step 2: Plug into Notepad ++
    Now with your list of expiring domains you're going to need to do a few things before you can run it through Guru's URL Grabber. Paste your list of domains into Notepad++, select all, and hit "Shift-Tab" until everything is nice and orderly. Then hit "CTRL + F" and navigate to the Mark Tab. Place "[.]" with no quotes in the find what section, click the "Bookmark line" checkbox, make sure it's "Regular Expression" and click "Mark All".

    Next you're going to need to remove all lines that aren't marked. Navigate to the "Search" tab on the top, scroll down to "Bookmark" and click "Remove Unmarked Lines".

    notepad ++ 2.jpg

    Next you need to add an http:// to all the lines or else Guru's URL Grabber won't be able to isolate the URLS from the rest of the junk. Hit "CTRL + H" on your keyboard and fill in the following settings. Put "^" without quotes in the "Find What" section and "http://" in the "Replace With" section. Make sure Regular Expression is ticked and click "Replace All" on your right. Now, save the file in a location that is easy to find.

    Step 3: Fire Up Guru's URL Grabber

    Guru's URL Grabber is pretty easy to use. Just load the file you just saved and click OK. Now Guru's will extract only the URLS that start with a http:// and you can save it back to the file. You're almost done!

    Step 4: Plug into Scrapebox
    Last thing you need to do is use Scrapebox or some other kind of software to calculate each URL's page authority and domain authority. The addon for Scrapebox is called Page Authority Addon and you can download it from the "Show Available Addons" at the top.

    Next, just simply upload your file with URLS in and start the process. Most URLs will be junk but you can find a handful of sites with good PA and DA. You can further analyze the domains by plugging into Opensiteexplorer for Inbound Links and MajesticSeo for Trust Flow and Citation Flow. Thanks for reading and I hope it helps!

    For this particular search for domains that have "health" in it, I've found 10+ domains with a PA 25+ and DA 15+ out of 500 domains, and all for under $20!
