Contest 48 Hour Easy Logo Contest $20 for the Winner

Hi, I need a logo for SaltBase(.)com (it will be a site where we plan on selling some salt products like salt lamps etc), the logo should be something neutral and soft, but not girly. Something that has a "wellness and relaxing" feel to it, but not too curly or anything.

Our main products looks like this but we do anything salt:

- Simple but nice font
- Colors: Up to you

Happy to see something totally different as well if you have a good idea, open for anything .

Winner gets $20 via Paypal and must provide psd and png files and obviously I will retain full ownership of the logo.

I wouldn't inSALT you with my logo ideas, but perhaps the words could be made out of salt crystals?

@friedbass, thanks for your entry the reSALT is nice but not really what we are looking for, it needs to have more of a relaxing, wellness kind of feel, if you just browse our main product which is "himalayan salt lamps" I think you will find some good inspiration, if you were to try a revision there is no need for a tagline and I would like to see other fonts too.

 

I appreciate the feedback.. I must say i do logos here from time to time for fun as there is no pressure.. on that note, that will be my only attempt.

Hopefully will help lay some groundwork as to what you are needing for the other designers.

And @Nora thanks for your entry , I feel this might be a great logo style for a mobile phone provider but it won't give our customers the relaxed wellness feel we are looking for, the colours aren't too bad and come pretty close to what I think might work like the himalayan salt "pink", here is how it looks: http://www.shellethics.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Himalayan-Salt-1.jpg possibly even have different shades of pink like the natural salt itself, think: "natural + wellness + himalayan salt" and I think you should get there

@jreign I think the concept is ok but it does look a bit like a space egg in a way and I don't really like the font used

@Nora I like the colour change but not much else unfortunately

@Ashish92 thank you , I quite like the colour theme (actually A LOT) I am just not too sure about the symbol, I sort of like it too but hmmm.. I would definitely like to see more font versions and maybe something else symbol wise but really I sort of like it already, maybe expand to Sb I don't know... Anyhow, great work!

 

@iulia87 thanks again , it looks much better then the first 2 tries and is probably my 2nd favourite concept currently in this thread, definitely a good logo..
