    It's possible. I saw some others with fresh setup newly domain being ranked fast ahead of time compared to the old aged domain.

    Yes I have also seen it. Within no time they zoom to first page or first result. What I have noted is this
    1. Almost all of them steal the images that is already in the first page for image searches.
    2. Some of them have uploaded around 40 000 images within one month. And they get around 100 000 visitors per month after 2 or three month. (My assumption based on similar web traffic, as I do not trust alexa traffic statics. I personally talked to webmaster who was ranking 23000 in alexa and hardly was having 4000 visitors/day. he also did not know why he ranked so high)

    Another URL is here. I had lot of DMCA issue with this guy as first he refused to remove the images. He said me he already uploaded 40 000 images and I have to crawl all those images and send link and proof that shows it is my image

    You can search for "First Day Of Autumn" with one million searches/month and he is the fifth result in Images now. before he was1st result.

    What I find is after this quick jump they fall back. But webmasters from India and pakistan is happy with that, as they quickly abandon that domain and will do the same work with a new domain.

    Don't worry about page rank. Google is taking longer and longer to refresh page rank each time, eventually it will mean nothing. Focus instead on Trust Flow (stat from majesticseo) and Domain Authority (stat from moz). They are far more accurate and up to date when it comes to working out the authority of a site.
