It's an automatic payment from your paypal account. Login to PayPal, go to where your subscriptions are listed and cancel the one for digitalpoint.

Lots of people do this - they go premium when they need it, and stop when they don't.

    "DP Account Automatically Upgrades"

"I'm a premium member.my DP account automatically upgrades every month how I can stop it?"

Would it not be nice though if it did NOT automatically upgrade and in fact had some input from the humans involved :)

No offense is meant to you Sarahk and to you Shawn, if you are still around that is.

Members need to carefully read the sign up information. Digitalpoint offers two types of subscriptions, the recurring and the non-recurring. If you sign up for the recurring and want to terminate it, you have to do so through your PayPal account.

Mytechiestuff, you seem to have figured out how to unsubscribe since you are no longer a premium member.

"Mytechiestuff, you seem to have figured out how to unsubscribe since you are no longer a premium member."

My dear Smyrl, throughout all the years that I have been a member of DP, I have NEVER been a "Premium member".

It is just that I am now being very strongly urged by several clients to take a "premium membership"!

I believe that it would be a mistake to do so and the above seems to have proven me right.

Does that mean that if I "sign up" for the non-recurring subscription, I will NOT have to involve my Paypal account with it?

If you sign up for a non-recurring subscription you will have to make a one time payment with PayPal. Such a transaction will be just like buying a site with PayPal.

Really? I'd have thought it would be quite obvious if you needed one or not. I wouldn't have thought you'd need "urging".

How so? Was your need, or lack of, not clear to you but clear to others?
