My site has fallen into google sandbox filter in late January 2014. So my website has lost all on the Google index. Earlier I had Alexa in the top 2000 in the U.S. :)

Whats interesting though is xmovies8.com is blacklisted on AppNexus for Impression Boosting/Site with sole purpose of generating ad impressions.

Gunggo doesn't use AppNexus (to my knowledge) so that would mean that another company or the AppNexus auditing team has found this issue as well.

Gunggo is а legit company, for me this website it's very suspicious, also if is really blacklisted from AppNexus i have no doubt who is right in this case.

Clearly you dont know what you are talking about... AppNexus is an Ad Serving technology provider... They are not a network.

The way it works is Companies like CPXi, Conversant, Marimedia, YBrant Digital, Media Shakers, etc... "USE" AppNexus. So your statement is completely inaccurate.

You don't even seems understanding what wrekoniz3 mention, in simple word, Appnexus is script and in cpm business well over 80% companies use this script and if a website is blocked in that script itself which means its gets blocked in all cpm provider which use that script and if a website gets blocked in 80% of network than I don't think it has good traffic or there is something wrong.

Damn - I'm sorry for hearing that. I'd wish there were a webpolice for that kind of crime. In Denmark where I'm from we have something called trustpilot.dk - here we can publicly rate websites. Maybe you have a similar opportunity?

Anyway - I hope you get your money

    Hello all,
I represent the Gunggo publisher team. The below complaint is currently in the process of being resolved.
I can't go in to too much detail, but this particular instance seems to be a misunderstanding in terms of the way the data was tracked with the (former) account manager.

As for the OP of this thread, he was simply cheating traffic, and of course, just like any other ad network in the industry, this is not allowed and grounds for immediate account suspension. That type of tactic costs ad networks a lot of money due to advertisers demanding refunds due to very poor quality of traffic. It seems that most members in this thread have been able to deduce this of their own accord, so I don't feel I need to explain much further.

We work with thousands of publisher websites from around the web, many of which we are paying tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars each month. Why? Because they send us legitimate traffic. If you want to try to scam an ad network, don't be surprised when your account is suspended.

If anybody has any questions, feel free to email me at

    Thanks man, for the support,
yes its true, we work really hard for a good genuine traffic, and when we do not receive our hard work revenue its really very disappointment,
esp when we do not do anything wrong, and we been legit always,

and yes do not surprise i have edited my previous post, as per the conversation with the gunggo new account manager,
i will not go in to more details right now,
but surely we are working out to resolve the issue, and really hope its should,
i will surely update you guys with that as soon receive the payments,
as its seems gunggo had misunderstanding with the ads impression not showing in details,

    soon will update u guys

Wow this is eye opening. Why not diversify yourself with more networks? This way if one doesn't pay you have more?

I will try not to take sides here, however in my line of work I encountered a lot of similar situations when people that are sending bot traffic or incentive traffic cry all over the internet that a company is "scamming" them.

    How does this work?
    1. There are a multitude of small programs which people can install on their computer and then upload a list of proxies that create bot traffic.
    2. Using incentive traffic such as hitleap or stuff like that.

    How to avoid?
For self serving networks it's rather easy...
Script yourselves 2 verifications for both cookies and javascript. If the user agent accepts these 2 it's a 90% probability that the user is real and legit.
P.S. for those that claim that they navigate with their javascript or cookies disabled let me ask this. If an ad network can't log data into a cookie to track a conversion what's the point of counting that visit as legit?
Secondly, most of the tags these days are js. So if your javascript is disabled you don't even see the ad. What would be the point on counting that visit either?
For networks / agencies using appnexus...
No clue. I personally have no clue how they track or log visits / conversions / clicks.

So... in this case... I understood that this user had a fair amount of traffic and then the traffic suddenly boosted up. I would've asked my questions 2 days after i would have seen the boost. Not upon payment. But since gunggo is using some 3rd party serving platform they may not have full referrer details to look into so my statement may not hold here.
