    Dear,

Page rank is an indicator of how well your page is performing on the web. Page rank is defined by a combination of the quality of content, your search engine optimization, and your quality back links and no. of visitors. But for a long time Google has not updated PR and may be in future Google will not push any more toolbar PR updates but still here are some pretty ways to increase your site’s PR rank

    1. Providing quality, useful and unique content

    2. Website optimization as per latest Google guidelines

    3. Create quality back links

    4. Social Sharing to make your website popular, so it increases your no. of visitors and indirectly will help in the PR rank improvement.

To increase PR for a site you need to do a combination of many things on page optimization such as effective use of internal links. Link pages on your sites to other relevant pages using anchor text.

Link building is also very effective as the above answer states a good start would be to submit your site to directories.

Forget PR, it's dead. Google announced it will not renew it. Google it.

According to Google’s head of search spam, (Matt Cutts) Google is not going to update its PR.

Where the f do you people get this excrement from? You obviously have no idea what PR even is and how it is calculated.
Nope. Matt Cutts did not say that! (except he did say something like that a yr ago and then they went and updated!). John Mueller recently said that they might not export the PR to the toolbar again. They still use PR internally and still update it every day. You really need to get your facts right before making a fool of yourself.

So how come they still update it every day and factor it into the search results every day, just like they have since 2005?

What do they update "every day"?

The visible PR that we're seeing will not be updated. At least, that's what they said.

Of course, Google will continue to use an invisible ranking system of their own. Which we can't see...

The original question was about PR - Google Toolbar-measured PageRank, from what I understood. That's dead.

Don't even think about the PR anymore as Google no longer updates PR and not support it at all.

page rank completely depends on the number of backlinks and the number of domains that are pointing at your website. So try increasing the backlinks and you will automatically get a better page rank. and try putting fresh content regularly for the google bots to index your website very regularly.

Build a strong backlink profile and you'll improve your PR but you'll not see it coz PR is not updated.

Nobody knows when will be the next PR update... There are A LOT of similar questions in the forum, why didn't you first use the Search function?
