Clients are getting upset if they see I was active on FB and didn't immediately reply. It's due to the last active display which anyone I've had correspondence with can simply bring up that conversation and see. Is there some way to turn off this time stamp?

I've tried blocking all apps, chat is turned off, and even if I only log in from my desktop it still updates. Screen shot example below from a friends iphone

Just explain that when you are working for a client you want to make sure that all activity on your timesheet is focussed on that client. You take note of other client requests and return to them at the appropriate time.

Delete them from FB, block them from seeing your feed.

Good point. Let them like your corporate page and they can message you via that but don't have them as friends. Explain that your friends list really is that - true friends and not clients or acquaintances.

That and maybe explain the whole multi tabbed browser situation. I have appeared to be online here since the port to xenforo because I have had a tab open here for years lol..

It doesn't mean I am actually here though.

Lesson learned. Don't add them as a friend haha
Yes, block them from your feed, there is an option on your post where you can restrict some people on seeing your post.
You can see a drop down menu on the upper right corner of your post :)
