NEW YORK (AP) — An arbitrator Friday threw out Ray Rice's indefinite suspension by the NFL for hitting his then-fiancee and now wife in a hotel elevator, freeing him to play again. http://www.ksl.com/?sid=32532318&ni...s-appeal-nfl-suspension-vacated&s_cid=queue-4 NFL SUPPORTS WIFE BEATERS!
He should be grateful to her for the rest of his life. She could've gone all berserk and sued his ass, then he'd never see the light of day. I believe in forgiveness though. If she truly forgave him and he truly understands his wrong-doing then, by all means, they should move on. And, of course, it's all about the money. If he doesn't play she won't have all the expensive toys she otherwise will have. (Don't crucify me for this one, it has been said on the news many times over).
Wow, what a bad decision on her part and the NFL. What kind of message and precedence does this set? I agree with qwikad. Money played a huge part in the forgiveness, as it always does.
