    Does anyone know any accounting
    software for traders which works
    offline. The software will have options
    to store different types of items in
    stock and options to input goods coming
    in and the ones going out, so one can easily know the quantity of goods in his
    store when he checks the software etc.

    The two options I have used are inFlow Inventory (great for stock control and invoicing), which has a free version. It's really easy to learn.

    The other is Quickbooks, I think they still offer an offline solution. Quickbooks is what one of my businesses still use today. It can deal with stock control and accounting all in one, but it's no substitute for a real accountant when it comes to submitting tax and things.

    You can go to a software engineer and ask him to develop software according to your needs.
