Please share your innovative ideas for getting reviews from our customers.

 

You have to list your business in local business listing sites such as yellopages, yelp, foursquare, Citysearch, Google Reviews/Local/Places/+. In other way social media also helpful for example:- Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn etc.

 

If you run an online business, simply ask your users to leave a review after they make a purchase, it works like a charm. If you are already asking them, make the request more obvious.

If you run a local business, then @happykahlon 's idea of listing your business in those places is a great one.

Also, social media works for any kind of business, and probably even better than anything.

 

When promoting products via content, let your customers know that you are open to communication. You can also politely ask them what they think about the products/services they have just bought or paid for. And yes, use of social media to get your message across.

I think we can takes a Online Survey from customers as well as use of POS system (Point of Sale) then Social media and E-mail Communication with our customer is a great way to getting a genuine feedback.

Not the most Innovative but it works. Just ask for a review or testimonial. Some will give and some won't. For me this is the best way to get testimonials.

 

You can use Google Surveys (free) or even Survey Monkey (there's a limited free version) for your surveys. But there are many other websites which offer survey tools. Just review and select one which best suits your requirement. :0
