If you have over 10,000 backlinks, that shouldn't be the issue unless they are all bogus links (link farm links, all out-of-niche links, all foreign links, etc.). How often do you update your site? Are the updates copied or original content?

Maybe try updating some old content and get some brand new inbound links.

More info about your site would be helpful.

If this is the case, I believed that most of your backlink is nofollow. Nofollow backlink will not give you any pr juice. Your pr will still be 0 eventhough you have millions link if all of them are nofollow. Check out whether your backlink are dofollow or show your website URL, then member here can help you to find the actual reason.

Don't waste your life worrying about page rank.. Page rank is just there for so called 'webmasters' to say, 'hey look how well I am doing'.. It actually means diddly squat these days... Just the same as Alexa ranking means bugger all too... You need to move on...

Your PR is still 0 even after a year simply because for that one year, you haven't gathered enough backlinks to boost your PR.

PageRank is old news. Google update it less and less because people understand it. Your displayed PageRank is almost certainly not your actual rank.

Besides, many other factors come into play, and PageRank (actual or perceived) is no longer a big deal

It sounds to me as if you have done nothing wrong. If you have been building back links from a range of domains then there is little else that you can do.

However Google factors in more than just back links their algorithms include a range of other factors many of which are known only to Google.

What visitor traffic do you get on a monthly basis?

Google is no longer updating page rank, which is really unfair in my opinion since people still take it into consideration. A site might show a PR0 but actually be a much higher PR. New sites will no longer get page rank. Sites that had PR but do 301 redirects will lose their page rank. Best thing you can do if you're concerned about not having PR, get an SSL certificate so that all of your ranks (PR, MOZ, Compete, Alexa) are listed as private in browsers. Plus, SSL certificates are now a ranking factor.

Back links everything ;) Following PR is just a waste of time. Just concentrate on content of your site because that is most important.

Hi, 50 backlinks is not nearly enough to increase your page rank on Google. There are a lot of services on the web that offers quality DOFOLLOW backlinks, built using white hat methods, that will be posted on higher authority sites with high page rank. That will surely increase your page rank, but nothing is guaranteed, because Google is pretty weird these days, but it is worth a shot. Even if you don't get higher PR right away, your keyword rankings on Google will be increased a lot, and that way you'll get more traffic and with it = more revenue, and it the end it's all about REVENUE, right? : )

Let me know if I could help you with anything else,
    Cheers bro : )

To get higher PR you must have Dofollow high PR backlinks but it will not affect on your traffic and ranking. Keep PR aside just focus on your keywords and build targeted and relevant backlinks which helps to increase ranking and traffic.

    PR is DEAD & GONE.

What really bothers me is that advertisers still look at PR. I'm in the advertising business and this has definitely effected one of my sites. The page was a PR4 and is now showing a PR0 (due to a 301 redirect.)

It also hurts newer sites that are for sale. The site might have a lot of authority, but most buyers of Flippa still judge a site by page rank among other factors.
