Top offpage SEO backlink stratery is: PBN- Private blog Networks. If you can get links from high PR and quality links, then ranking in TOP 10 is a breeze.

 

Post unique content. Then submit to Social Bookmarking sites, Related forums, comments on Good blogs (manually posted!), etc.

Editorial backlinks on niche-related pages. Don't bother with PageRank, use Moz metrics instead. PA >35, TF/CF ratio > 1 etc.

But you have to do it right. Leave no footprints for google to get back to your a$$.

* web 2.0s sites or even custom domain sites with good DA and PA

3) Social engagement
* Social share of your contents , sites etc

4) Directory Listing
* Quality Directory listing only

And on the top of the game you backlink profile.

Seo has changed now. Don't build backlinks based on your money keywords only. Atleast, 25-40% of your anchor text based on your branding keywords, 20% generic and rest into your secondary keywords, long tail keywords, LSI keywords and just 5% on your money keywords.

My dear Kylie Sweety, Thanks for your research on my signature The strategies that worked two years back are not working anymore (from my experience). So I am pretty sure something new comes up for ranking strategy. I know unique & engaging content still works but that's on page activity but here we are discussing about off page and there are many rooms like blog commenting, guest blogging, social bookmarking, forums, social media share, etc. But which 1 or 2 methods actually work for sure? I am not 100% sure about that and trying to find out

 

I used Press release , social bookmarking, article posting, Blogging and some paid links form related sites.

 

As an SEO it is part of your responsibility to know what's the most effective off page today.
It is not just an SEO Service Provider to be called of. SEO is changing and evolving. You must know that.
