    Hi,

7 years ago I started a thread here to post Expired PR domains that are available for registration and the service really worked very well.

Now I will try to start it again and see how members will like it, just want to remember the old days :)

Please find the domain names in the coming posts..

MAKE SURE THAT THE PR INFORMATION IS RIGHT BEFORE REGISTERING THE DOMAIN AS IT IS NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY AND I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME CHECKING THEM MYSELF.

I am doing a free service trying to help members starting new websites.. and I don't have enough time to check every single domain to that extent.. thats why I stated clearly that everyone is required to check the domain himself before registering it.

I usually use godaddy service to look out for dropped domains. Some of the most popular domains comes up for sale there.

Often the PR might be 100% legite at the time of purchase, but once google runs its update, the pagerank can drop dramatically.
As I dont buy many dropped domains (unless its something I want, need, and in this case, PR is of no concern to me, (not to mention, pr updates are few so I do not have alot of statistics), but I have seen people buying domains that were dropped from other people, and the pagerank dropped when google did its update. Its fine if its a good domain, that you are happy with, that you purchased for low cost, but its not fine if the only value in the domain is its PR, and its not fine if you paid more then the cost to rego it. But like I said, I cant be sure that the PR will drop for every single dropped domain, but I have seen it happen a number of times now. Its just something to consider before investing heavily in dropped PR domains.

I'm not sure where pr is in the world anymore because backlinks are now depreciated under the stylish gman ideology of this month...
so who cares about pr since links are no good?
I get requests for link removals more than link requests
in another year it could reverse
once they cornered the SEO types.

the pr for a drop will usually hold for a month or until the next update but I have seen the pr hold out for year on parked domains.
sooner or later you will see a step down usually gradually though sometimes gone
right now i dropped a pr2 domain that was pr3 when purchased as a drop and i did absolutely nothing with it but park and still pr held
that's not a "one off" In my experience
best thing is to try to stabilize it
you will see many of the big players landing pr 4 5 6 drops will immediately point the domain at a empty wordpress install to make it look like a site is imminent until they can sell.I think that is probably as good an idea as any
so people talk a lot of bs about what "has to happen"
but that isn't what really happens
