    Why does google still show the backlinks I disavowed in GWT?

    Are the backlinks disavowed or still in process?

    I sent the diavow request 1 month ago

    Conduct a link audit in your site and check whether those links are still showing up. If they continue to exist, then try to contact the websites from where those backlinks are coming from.

    Yes you're right but i want to tell you that I contacted that webmaster of that site but they're not also deleting my link how can i report to google for this ?

    Why should they edit your site at your request? Have you offered to compensate the site owner for time spent?
    How did your links end up on the site in the first place?

    Disavowed links are processed continuously and automatically. Now, if you recently moved your site from http to https, you would have to resubmit a disavow file for https. This could explain your issue. If your site is not visited often by crawlers, then it may take some time before your links will be removed in GWT.

    Disavow doesn't remove the link from Webmaster Tool.

    Only way for it to disappear is to remove the link. Apparently you tried that but weren't able to.

    Try asking the webmaster gently... If disavow tool doesn't work for you, nobody can help you.. As it's automatically and you should think about another possible exit...

    Disavowing links will not help you recover from Penguin. That's a fact. I tried disavowing links for one site hit by penguin and my rankings got WORSE with the last update.

    Disavow Tool is not using to recover website from Penguin and Panda updates. But you can avoid Spammed backlinks.

    Disavow basically is a concept of Yahoo Search Engine, later Google accept it and try to implement to avoid Spammed Backlinks that hurt your websites.
