#1 Marketing Tip

What is the number one marketing tip you wish you knew when you started? I wish that I had worked on my Twitter following from the beginning. It has been such a great tool and for a long time I overlooked it as a fad.

 

I didn't renew the domain name my first website. I've always regretted that to date.

 

Facebook has been the best for me. I am not a fan of Twitter!

 

The most important thing to remember in marketing is that you always need to have a "balanced diet" just like in life. If you make the mistake of just focusing on one or two marketing techniques and are not constantly testing and measuring new types of campaigns, you will not only limit your business, but will also put it at great risk as the original marketing techniques inevitably begin to be less and less effective. Keep being creative and constantly trying new things. Discard the campaigns that fail and keep the ones that work.

Also note if a particular campaign has synergies with one of your other campaigns. For example, in the offline world, it often makes sense to follow up a direct mail campaign with a telemarketing campaign to the same list. The telemarketing campaign will have a much higher conversion rate if the prospect has recently gotten a mailer from the same company. In the online world, having an effective PR campaign in conjunction with online advertising on the same media sites can be very effective, for example.

What do we want in advertising business? We want our campaign to be seen. But It's not enough, we awant it to be seen by relevant public, so our campaign will be not only seen but efficient.
I wish I knew ppc when I started.
PPC one of the most powerful marketing tools. It allows you to target you advertising to your your actual audience. Yes it's not free and in most cases if you have no idea what are you doing it's like a casino. You most likely will loose your money.
But if you do really know what are you doing and you have some experience with PPC, you can achieve a really good results and your campaign will be actually efficient.

 

Getting to know your customers is the most important stage of marketing process. The more accurate your information and knowledge, the more effective you will be at selling. Use all the information at your disposal to understand customer's behavior, demographics, and requirements. This information should steer your major business decisions and allow you to write a marketing plan.

 

I could have maximized social media that much.

If you can't answer the question "what does your customer want?" then you probably don't have much of a business.

My best marketing tip is be your self and creative..no one can stop you but the WIN! GOOd luck ok so being technical,, nowadays social media work well,,why not forums,,hahah you in right place to market but take your time and be valuable!

 

Building an email list from the start.

 

Email Marketing. Building a list with effective follow up messages that make the buyer trust you and the products you stand for.

 

Not starting to build an email list sooner. If I had sent all my traffic to a squeeze page first, I would have a much bigger list. It's important to know the power of email marketing!

 

There is no 1 tip, as people have already stated you need to attack more than 2 ways to market a campaign to its full potential or your business will be limited. The main 2 factors are listed below.

Twitter- Follow and get Followed/ ask for shout outs
Instagram- Ideal to show physical products off you sell on your website.

Dont just be a boring same 1 page website update your unique and interesting content regularly.

 

Dont give up because something isn't working. Eventually you will crack the code and receive a profit.
