Average visit length is 32 minutes but why is no one buying my products?

Hi,
I have a domain registrar website which to be fair doesn't have a lot of visitors but they spend an average of 32 minutes on there. But why are they not buying my products?

It doesn't mean that the visitors spend a lot of minutes in your website you will expect that the visitors will buy your product. If I were the buyer, Yes I will stay a minutes within the website because it is related to the product that I'm looking for but as a smart consumer I will carefully study the website's product (reviews, trend, interesting, and beneficial) then search again for another brand. After searching and determining the best and most beneficial product I will decide what brand of product will be most suited in my needs.

 

There are several facotors that a visitor dicide to buy or not buy from a site
simply 1 how secure web site it is https make more confident
2.how attrctive web design
3.content content content
4.page authority
5.SEO
6.Targeted traffic.....etc i can list load of factors but simply you can understand it>> hope this give you a kick

 

Maybe a lot of members just leave the tab open while researching the product and find a cheaper website to buy it from?

 

Thats funny I leave tabs open as well, That makes a lot more sense now thanks guys.

 

There is too much competition among domain registrar websites. It may be that visitors are searching new domains on your website(If you offer this service) but move to other registrar to book/buy domain. There may be several reasons behind it. I am listing few.
1. Registrar's country
2. Domain price
3. Domain extension(.com, .org, .net etc.) to buy
4. Payment option( through credit card, Paypal etc.)

 

i think you all guys dont get what the point.. Sometime people just see what inside and stay without doing anything.

maybe because your niche , if you business related with hosting and domain , people will really carefully research to purchase , coz people prefer purchase on older and big website of hosting and domain , like godaddy or hostgator.

Hmm, that's an interesting thought about the time on site statistic. I do the same often — that is, leave the tab open.

 

First to say, I was impressed when I read MINUTES. For most websites it's normal their visitors to stay NO more than 2-3 minutes before they buy. If you have an article with 5,000 words, they won't read it! They will read the first paragraph and will continue if you grab their attention. For your niche, it would be hard unless you have a good design... and maybe I would add some bonuses maybe, think about WHY they should choose your website among all others!
