    dumb.ws and well.ws are domains i purchased years ago.

    I am not using them for anything but have several ideas for the future.

    They expire in a few weeks and i went to renew but saw the price increase to 32$ each per year.

    My question is. Is there anything special about these short words that add any value at all?
    or should i sell them to my friend and just get one .com with whatever name and start fresh?

    If I were you if let them drop or try and sell fast, the extension is not very strong these days, stick to .com short name

    Yes if you have a domain and planning for future plans then it is best that you book for couple of years by paying a little more. Contact the right hosting service to avail this service.

    ws is interesting domain the western Samoans hit a gold mine with this
    and they got in early....
    before there were unlimited extensions
    people like messing with this extension because it is still possible to buy keyword domains and also as far as i know it is the only domain that does "demand pricing"
    so if you want to reg a 1 letter or two letter domain it costs extra but you can
    I have a couple of keyword ws domains that earn a little parked
    but you need to focus on big concept stuff because this is a 3rd tier extension
    I mean if you dont buy stuff like "mortgage".ws "sex".ws
    dont waste your money

    dropped them both. couple weeks later godaddy had them both on auction for around $120. dumb.ws went fast and well.ws is still available for auction.
