The number of Social Media Accounts an SMM can handle, depends on the clients requirements and the availability of the manager. Im not an SMM, however this is how I see things working as an SMM.

Probably the advise I could share is you ask the clients expectation and all requirement should be clearly defined. Once you got all the task that needs to be done you can assess yourself if you can handle multiple accounts or not.

    Hope it helps. :)

It would depend on the capability of the person as Social Media Manager. 10 accounts would be fine but one should know the depth of the required job for the account.

It depends on your abilities. Sometimes one manager can handle tons of accounts, but you should always check the quality

It really depends on companies’ requirements. With active audience, advertising, active campaigns and pages on different social media one brand can consume all of your time.

If you're only responsible for launching social media campaigns then you can even handle 20 accounts. But if you have to take care of other stuff too like On-site and Off-site SEO then you should try to manage only a few social accounts to maintain focus.
