Just bought a domain related to trade in items. I need some good ideas for developing this website/blog.

Currently, I can invest my efforts only...

Learn Wordpress - probably the fastest way to get a site up.

 

What does "trade in items" mean? You will be buying selling/products? You will be facilitating the buying/selling of items by others? You will be blogging or providing information about buying/selling items? Hard to give advice without a minimal understanding of what you are trying to do.

 

I agree with the first suggestion. Put WordPress on your website. You can start with a static page or a dynamic page telling your prospecive buyers about your product and than giving them the link to buy the product.

 

You can buy and setup eshop, its not expensive. Average price start from 30$

Can you tell what is your domain name and which niche related to your domain, in these days we can use any domain for any niche but domain name describe niche.So explain more about your site.

If you're just satrting with bloging, it's better to use wordpress.
And start immediatly your List Building once you get traffic...

@jrbiz thank you for your understanding the real issue about which I'm looking for suggestions. In fact, the three ideas you have highlighted here are the most suitable options for such domains. But again non of them is easy to go for. I really appreciate your insights as they really helpful in explaining things in details.

I would recommend going onto social networks and calling universities for students that need to create a site for their class anyway. It's a win win. Also, you can find recently graduated students that are trying to build their profile and are willing to do it for cheap. Hope this helps!
