Contest Logo design for a letter website - 40 dollars

Hi i need a logo design for a letter writing website, i attached a screenshot with the logo area, i want something simple that reflects a letter writing tutorial site, something nice ; simple and professional, not too cartoonistic.

I won't tell you exactly which colors to use, but it has to match the colors of the website, which as u can see are blue, yellowish white, black and some red. (i can help with colors later after i see your logo)

please use the same text (howtowritealetter (dot) net) as the current logo that you see in the screenshot.

This will be a quick and easy contest,payment will be made via paypal.

what's the font?

 

Hi, i am not looking for the exact font as in the screenshot, you are free to choose a professional looking font , something simple and corporate / business looking.

 

Hi massi, thanks for trying, however it's not what i had in mind, i am more looking for a custom made illustration, not a very realistic "feather" .. i am also looking for a continous design. something simple but something that incorporate both elements (text + icon) into one cotnious design.

Hi, this represents the overall idea, you understood the job, however please use one color (probably white) for the "howtowritealetter.net" as for the red square, it doesn't represent "letter writing", i think you should keep the same concept, but change the ICON , try using a pen and an envelope somehow, instead of that red square with writing inside..

 

Al3x3y, thank you for your entry but none of those designs is "continous" , i am not looking for a two parts logo, but rather one Logo that embodies all the elements..

Greenless please check my earlier feedback i think your first design was more in tune with the site and what i had in mind, it just needed different icons, but i can see that u are talented even with the second design, however i am looking for something simple that has the business / corporate feel..i am not shooting for something very fancy.

This has all the elements.. but i am still not convinced about the icon (envelope and pen), they kinda look forced together.. please try other ways of incorporating an evelope and a pen with the logo..

 

tried to separate them somehow...this one looks cooler imo
