Do you know taobao in China?

I just bought some items from Taobao. Although I can't read Chinese, I used Google Chrome to translate everything to English. Most of the things are fake there so you must be careful when buying. After selecting my items, I would just pass the details to my agent and she would order it for me.

 

I always buy taobao products, like clothing, glasses, watches and some kind of stuff for my family. It is not bad at all. My daughter always love her new doll and i'm consider to buy more. By the way, I don't buy from taobao directly, i buy from smalltao.com, the most professional taobao agent. Also I have to tell u the turth, if u buy from taobao, there is no warranty for international business, but if u buy from smalltao, u can ask them to return your item and money back. lol

many taobao sellers are private individuals selling unwanted stuff to eachother or trying to make some extra money on the side... they are not companies

if you are looking for cheap chinese suppliers, you should use B2B networks like alibaba, which is the same company that owns taobao.

No, I have not idea for taobao.

 

The goods on taobao some are good ,but some are bad.If the price is too low ,the quality must be bad.The other thing that most of them don't know english,that is the problem for foreigners to buy .If you are not satisfied with the goods,it would be costly to send back the goods and get a new one.The freight will be expensive.Ebay is a nice place to buy .For alibaba,most of them are wholesales,they have MOQ for each item.

 

What is it? boot-leg version of Ebay?

 

sure not .I am just giving my own view.To those people who don't know much about taobao and don't understand Chinese,i think ebay is a better choice.But I never buy from Ebay.Every online business has its risk,do you agree?

I've browse Taobao but haven't really brought anything personally because the site's language is in Simplified Han and I not really aware of the product quality nor Taobao's return policy for items.
