    Just to be clear - I'm a woman and I didn't make any comments as to the quality of writer one can hire for $2 / 100 words. There's good and bad writers on both ends of the pay scale, regardless of where in the world they are located. Guaranteed, there is a stigma attached to writers from certain countries, but I've seen some pretty horrible North American writers too. lol!


    I think what fired a few writers up in this thread is the fact that $0.60 / 100 words equates to less than minimum wage for writers residing in North America. That, and $1.00 / 100 words is insulting to many writers, myself included, considering the amount of work that goes into creating a quality article, but the rate managed to become the norm, so many writers have come to at least stomach it a bit to pay the bills and/or build a portfolio and reputation. Anything less than $1.00 / 100 words just trips the trigger and the lashing out ensues.

    I'm not going to announce any kind of side or opinion on "fat shaming" or "fat acceptance" but whoever wrote this piece sounds like an angry teenager and that article alone is going to piss off a lot of potential visitors.

    There's really no statistics or value in the article. The entire article basically says fat women are disgusting, loud, obnoxious and don't have opinions. Just a small clip:

    If you're happy with them, then I'm in the wrong and I have nothing else to say.

    It was written by one of the writers hired. But really its about how obese people can cover it up with being sassy or making excuses. From someone who commented on the article I totally agree that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

    Also it is opinion post, looking for opinions. I respect your opinion and you should comment on the article!

    FWIW woman don't spend all their time trying to be attractive to randoms they pass on the street. Obesity is a health issue only. Hell, that little turd probably thinks I should go hang myself because I'm a decade or two older than his checklist says a woman is allowed to be.
