how many keywords are perfect for website ?

how many keywords are perfect for single post on website ?

3,5,10,20 or what

can anybody plz. tell how many keywords are looking genuine for single post, which might not look spam or any google penalty on them ?

 

I would not go for more than 3/page.

 

My point of Target 3 keywords in Ttile, and remaindering keywords target in Keyword tag .

 

It depends on web page content. How long and informative is it? Your targeted keywords should be described according to user point of view and keywords density should not more then 3 to 4% above.

 

Keep the number low, 3 in case of your list. Also distribute the keywords over the full body of the article including top, middle and footer.

 

E.g. I use up to 5 keywords in articles up to 700 words.

 

1 keyword in your domain is important...You may used 3-5 keywords for your page but it must be related to your website.

 

Decide what the main topic of the page is. Your title should contain the most relevant keyword(s). Then write a good article on that main topic, using a nice variety of words and phrases related to that main topic. Do not let it look or sound spammy. Don't worry about "how many?" Read the article out loud to yourself. If it reads well and sounds professional, post it, without worrying about precise numbers of keywords.

 

According to my research,six to seven well-reseached keywords are best.

 

With Google's new focus on authority sites it is no longer enough to just target 3-5 keywords on a page. You also have to be using other words that are associated with those keywords in your content. So you need to first find your main keywords, then you need to find other words that relate to those keywords and make sure you spread all of that around in your content. Basically the new Hummingbird algorithm understands context and knows ranges of words that relate to specific topics. If you are writing about weight loss you need to now do more than just target weight loss, diet, calories, etc. You also need to include other words that an expert on that topic would most likely use. Of course the easiest way to do this is to become an expert and then write longer articles, giving you more chances to include more topic related words.

To sum up, Google tries to figure out your keywords to understand what your page is about, then they look to see if you are also using other words closely associated with those keywords to see if your content is authority or not.

Its seems you do keyword stuffing. Why you want optimized more keywords into one article?

 

This is what I do in my blog post. Also be sure you are writing for your readers. Don't use kw that doesn't make sense in the paragraph/sentence.

Keywords are selected according to the services provides by any page or website.

 

2-3 per 400-500 words... More is just like keyword stuffing... Better optimize your article title and your first sentence!

 

You can have many variations of one keyword so that you can use it appropriately. Moreover, it is also important to have the right mix of commercial and non-commercial keywords.

 

You can target 2-3 keywords per page or per post. It becomes easy to manage content for 2-3 keywords. If you target more than this, then it will not look natural.

 

3 to 5 main keywords on a page would be a good optimization, you can surely add more as long as you not spamming the keywords.

 

Overall I focus on 5 top unique relevant keywords for my page. Anything more will just be a hassle to rank for but its possible up to 10.
