Limit "Popular Posts" to 24 hours instead of a lifetime?

Hi guys,

I'm a CSS guy, I'm doing work on a Wordpress site.

One of the widgets has a "Popular, Latest, Tag" option. The Popular option is listed by comments, but it's lifetime comments - I need it to just be the last 24 hours, so "Popular Today".

I've included the widget php file - I'd really appreciate if someone could please tell me what or where to put in a timer or something. Thanks a million!

Could you also please tell me where or what code to take out to only have "popular" and "latest" in the tabs?

 

hmm not sure , but you could try getting rid of the following line : (THIS IS RELATED TO tab 3 only)

PHP:

This will only remove the tabs, not their containers, so a bit of redundant code would be left in.
( THE FOLLOWING IS A GUESS ) If you want to remove that too, try removing everything between

And
<!-- end tab3 -->



btw for the first post you also want to change $themeloy_args to this..

Sorry, not sure what you mean by the last part of $themeloy_args, do I use that instead of your original reply?
Regarding the tabs - I would ideally just like "Popular" / "Latest". Thanks again.

Ok, I'll do the above. I don't have access to FTP at the moment, I'll need to wait a few hours (I'm from Dublin, Ireland) and I'm waiting for a friend to come along with the details. I don't think there's a way of finding the widget file through the actual theme editor. It only gives core php files.

Hi, I just got to test it tonight and unfortunately the 'yesterday' code didn't work but the good news is the 2 last tabs did disappear.

Any ideas as to how to get just today's comments to appear?
