Contest (48hrs) $50 Logo Design Competition for Online Learning

Hi Talented Designers,

I am looking for a sharp, trendy and elegant logo design for my online learning business. The name of the business is Course Work. I have listed a few requirements below:

1) the logo is based on the idea of lightbulb appears on top of a person after you find solution to a problem.
2) inside the lightbulb, it is a thunder bolt instead a wire.
3) the logo is pure picture. No text.
4) a laurel wreath surrounding the lightbulb represents quality of the service.
5) you can choose between orange or blue color theme. You can go ahead with others if you are confident that your selection of color theme will make a better logo.
6) blend all the elements mentioned above and looks sharp, trendy, and elegant.
7) I like the less is more approach

I understand this is a challenge but I've told this is a good forum for a challenge. You have 48 hours. May the odds be with you!

1) the lightbulb and laurel wreath don't look good together as it is, so it is up to you to blend these two elements together with imagination to make it look trendy, sharp and elegant together. That's the key to winning the challenge.
2) you can make the lightbulb and laurel wreath more abstract.

Thanks for the design and the time spent. Unfortunately, the design as it is requires major improvement to be able to win. Here are a few pointers,

1) laurel wreath must surround lightbulb.
2) in your design, the lightbulb lacks modern feel and feel like a combination of pictures pieced together. The elements need to blend and feel they fit nicely together.

Please keep submitting your modified logo if you have the time.

1) the first thing I see from the logo is the human which takes away from the concept of lightbulb.(represent finding a solution to a problem)
2) the logo itself feels more like a non-profit organization logo.
3) unfortunately, the logo needs major improvement.

Your design is currently the best of them all but still needs the following elements to win
1) blending of different elements into a coherent image. The lightbulb seems separate from the logo.
2) the logo now is easily forgettable coz it doesn't look unique.
3) the color is trendy and the image requires the same level of trendiness.

Here is an example of logo I'm looking for. This has the quality of trendy, sharp and elegant. However, do not add in the extra complexity because of these logos. I like "less is more" approach.

Thank you for the design. This is the best logo so far and I like the laurel wreath design. The overall design is trendy and elegant. Your design is top 3. However, it will require the following modification:

1) the position of blue thunder bolt on the side seems not fitting to the whole logo.
2) the logo is not memorable.
3) need a simpler as in less complex logo.

Your strength in your design lies in your sharp color contrast but the blending of the lightbulb still requires work. Try something bold!
