    Hi,

Just want to share my thoughts on Internet Marketing Success. There are lot of members asking "how to be a successful IMer?" "How did you do that?", etc. But for me, everything starts with your DECISION.

    If you really want success,
    - Let go of your past and start moving forward
    - Know the things you need to sacrifice and optimize things you chose to use
    - Never look back. Always keep looking forward
    - Keep learning
    - Accept all criticisms. These are all food for thoughts
    - Be relevant
    - Know each corner of your niche
    - Be open. Do not close your ear for other's opinion
    - Be frugal. Spend less, spend wisely
    - Be humble
    - Innovate. Do not settle for what you made. Create and create

These are some of the lessons I learned by being an Internet Marketer. I know there are lots of traits and qualities that a successful Internet Marketer should have, but we can start here.
If you have something to share, please share it.

Accept what you're doing (IM) and focus on it. I think there are lots of people with only one foot in, and that's why it's very hard for them to grow.
The REAL learning is in the DOING.

    Hello AaronHarris!
This is definitely a great advice. I love it and all are very true.

“Know the things you need to sacrifice and optimize things you chose to use”
    Very good point!
It is important to sacrifice something if you want to achieve something especially when it comes to marketing.

“Do not settle for what you made. Create and create.”
    Another great one!

I used to procrastinate especially when I made something. It was my mistake and settling with what you’ve got is not a good idea. We should keep going on and get better and better!

I would add “do what you love and love what you do!” Also, learn from your mistakes so you will find what work well for you.

    Thank you!

One thing I think is often overlooked is the commitment to your business.

Giving it 1 or 2 months will tell you nothing. Busting your tail to achieve success for 6 months to a year, will tell you everything.

Yes, that's correct! I too had to wait around six months to find a momentum!

Really good stuff guys. I started out selling books on Amazon back in 2011. I made the transition over to internet marketing and product creation gradually. One thing that I have learned along the way and this holds true for everything. There is a learning period where you just absolutely learn everything you can about the thing you are interested in doing, there is a period where you have to execute and just go for it (follow through on that which you have planned), and then...and this is the scary part...there is always a learning curve (that period of time where you are executing your plans but you are not doing nearly as well as you originally thought you would). When you are in that third phase it is critical to ask yourself why, make adjustments and keep plowing forward. Always adjusting and moving forward towards your goals. It's a lot like golf lol. But yeah that is the way that I eventually started gaining real momentum.

Good luck and take comfort in the fact that if you learn these skills, you will never have to work a job again. :)

Internet marketing is always changing that's why we need to adapt in every aspect and adjust according to the competition.

Man, you have to look at it long-term. I am still on the learning curve too, but one thing has stuck out. A list of visitors to whom you can market over and over again. Once you have this, then you can lower your worries, because the hardest thing is getting a sale when you don't have targeted visitors or traffic. So start by building a small list then grow from there. Check out http://www.mobile-money-tz.com/listbuilding.html , I hope it will help.

Great advices. I am working as an internet market for around 2 years. In this short period of my work I have learned a lot and did very little. Things are always changing and you need to adopt with the changing trends. People suddenly likes one thing and then leaves it without no reason. There are very few pattern which you can follow. So, you need to keep learning everyday.

Don't let go any idea without testing, you might not know which one is going to be the next success story.
